"Craig spent countless summers working out with me in high school and college. He was a student of the game as a player and continues to be a student of the game as a coach. In 2017, I invited him to attend the Raptors 905 G-League Training Camp in Mississauga, ON. During training camp, Craig was involved in our coaches’ meetings, skill development sessions and practices. After practices, he joined me in breaking down film for the next day. The night before the roster deadline, without warrant, Craig provided me with a breakdown of every player and a list of players we should keep. True to form, his report aligned with our final decisions. He has the knowledge, eye for talent, attention to detail and work ethic to become a great coach. It’s just a matter of time before his hard work leads him up the coaching ladder."
